WHCC FAQ

How does this church work?

At WHCC our meetings are geared at assisting individuals to develop a deeper relationship with God through Christ. Our Sunday Services are called "Celebration Service" aimed at getting people to celebrate God's goodness over the last week.

What should I wear?

People are free to wear what they are comfortable in, as long as it covers the body.

We ask that you respect others by not dressing provocatively or aimed at causing offence to others.

How long will the service last?

Our Sunday Services are approximately 2 hours, with good time spent in music and the message.

Our Midweek Services ares one and half hour effective prayers and bible study.

What will the service be like?

Our Sunday services includes dancing, multi-media, contemporary music, and practical messages to help you understand the message of Jesus Christ.

The music aspect is upbeat and applicable to all age groups and includes participation, but not compulsory.

We have people dancing, clapping, and singing and generally feel a part of the service.

Will I need to say, sign or give anything?

At WHCC you will never be put on the spot. As a visiting guest you will not be obligated to give money or "register" your attendance (it is a voluntary action).

What about my kids - do they come into the service with me or is there something going on for them?

At the beginning of the service everyone takes part in the worship time. Before the message starts there is an announcement and prayer for the children to go to the Superkids room which provides and teaches educational experience for toddlers and kids through to grade eight. This allows you to receive the most from your experience at WHCC.

Students can expect the same elements as adults, contemporary music, media, drama and spiritual food that are focused to communicate specifically the gospel.

Is this a Christian church... or something else?

Though non-traditional in style, WHCC is deeply committed to the eternal truths of the Christian faith. Our vision is simple: to bring people back into relationship with God and other believers. WHCC is a part of the Pentecostal movement in Canada and Europe and has its grounding deep within its beliefs and culture.
